Usually no, however there are a few factors that may contribute to your period underwear leaking.

• You have the wrong absorbency for you flow. For example wearing a light flow pair on a heavy flow day.
• You haven't changed your underwear to suit your flow. For example you have worn for 6 hours but should have changed them at the 5 hour mark.
• You don't have the right fit. For example they are to big and you dont have a good snug fit around the leg.

So as long as you are wearing to suit your needs then you should not experience leaks at all.
