Ecobird Beeswax wraps

Our wraps make a great alternative to plastic cling film/glad wrap. Our beeswax wraps are durable, reusable, food safe, and easy to use. Ecobird beeswax wraps will help you to reduce your waste in the home yet still keep food fresh! You can use to wrap, snacks, fruits, cheese, bread, cover bowls, jars…. the list is endless. With our wide range of sizes and shapes you will find a wrap for almost any purpose in the kitchen.

Our small size wraps are approx 15x20cm and suitable for snacks, half an avocado, half an apple, orange or other small fruits, mini muffins, homemade baking, nuts and seeds.

Our medium size wraps are approx 20x25cm and suitable for bigger snacks, muffins, homemade baking, small bread rolls or small sammies, this is a good size to cover small bowls or small plates.

Our large size wraps are approx 30x35cm and suitable for 1kg blocks of cheese, muffins, homemade baking, bread rolls or a couple of sammies, this is a good size to cover medium bowls or plates.

By using one of our beeswax wraps daily you will save approx 90 meters of glad wrap over 12 months!!

How do I use my food wrap?

It’s super easy…. warm the wrap in between your hands slightly and wrap around your chosen product or bowl and mould the wrap around it. It will mould and hold in place. When your wrap needs cleaning you can wipe it down with a cool damp cloth or was in a mild detergent in cool water and hang to dry.

How long will my food wrap last?

When cared for correctly your beeswax wrap should last at least 6-12 months. You can also re coat your wrap yearly and by doing so this means you will get years of use out of your beeswax wrap. 

What are our food wraps made of?

We use good quality cotton fabrics, organic beeswax, tree resin and organic jojoba oils. We put a lot of love into our products. Bringing you quality NZ made products to enhance your well-being and home.
